FORAY Protocol Specification

This folder is intended to hold the canonical specification of the FORAY Protocol — universal transaction grammar, patent pending, Kaspathon 2026 Top 10.

Status

Awaiting content.

FORAY documentation exists outside this repository (Kaspathon submission materials, patent filings, working notes). The decision on how to populate this folder is open:

• Option A — Import existing FORAY documentation as the initial specification. Refine in this repository going forward.
• Option B — Produce a fresh specification modeled on the Loomworks Architecture Specification's shape (HTML, fifteen sections, status badges, plain language).
• Option C — Hybrid. Import what exists, refine over time.

The session handoff from 2026-05-21 names this as an open question for the next session.

When the specification lands here, it follows the same versioning convention as everything else in this repository: foray-protocol-specification-v0_1.html or .md, version visible in filename and document header, superseded versions moved to an archive/ subfolder.

Anchoring substrate

Per the current methodology, FORAY is the recommended anchoring substrate for Loomworks. The specification here will eventually need to address that integration directly.
