1. What this is

Single-verification follow-up to loomworks-phase-54-step-0-inspection-brief-v0_1.md. V3 of Step 0 surfaced that Phase 54 routes through the Phase 42 intent classifier extension (Reshape C); the Phase 54 scoping note v0.2 settles P54-D1 (gating location = C3, Companion-asks) and surfaces P54-D7 (intent classification names) + P54-D9 (Phase 42 extension point). V7 enumerates the Phase 42 intent classifier so v0.3 settles P54-D7 against the existing naming convention.

CC verifies, evidence-cites, reports verdict. CC does not propose remediation, does not edit the scoping note, does not draft the CR, does not start build.

Trivially small in scope. ~one file path enumeration, ~one signature read, ~one structural read on the extension pattern.

3. The verification

V7 — Phase 42 intent classifier extension point

Framing. Phase 54 Reshape C adds two new intent classifications to the Phase 42 classifier (per P54-D7): one for "review and commit" (routes to existing Phase 25 amend path) and one for "commit and induct" (routes to the new /seed/converse/commit endpoint). The intent classification names should follow Phase 42's existing convention so the cascade doesn't repeat (lens-bounded scoping evidence cascade caught at v0.2 with V1 and V3; V7 pre-empts the same cascade at intent-naming time). V7 enumerates Phase 42's existing intent classifications and identifies the extension point.

What to check.

• Locate the Phase 42 intent classifier in the engine repo. Likely under src/loomworks/ somewhere — possibly in a companion or routing module. File path and line numbers for the classification surface.
• Enumerate every existing intent classification: name (verbatim), structural definition (Enum value? string constant? class? other), what each classification routes to or signals.
• Identify the registration pattern: declare-and-register (Phase 38 style)? Hardcoded enum / list? Conditional dispatch? Other?
• Identify the extension point: where would two new intent classifications cleanly attach? Single file? Multiple files? Tests that enforce classification coverage?
• Enumerate any test fixtures or test files that exercise the intent classifier with all existing classifications (so the v0.3 absorption knows what tests Phase 54 needs to extend).

Evidence expected.

• File path(s) and line number(s) for the intent classifier surface.
• Verbatim enumerated list of existing intent classifications: name as it appears in code, structural form (Enum value / string / class / other), one-line read on what each routes to or signals.
• One-paragraph read on the registration pattern (declare-and-register, hardcoded, dispatch, other) and whether it accepts new classifications cleanly.
• File path(s) for tests that exercise classification coverage.
• Recommendation on intent classification naming for the two new Phase 54 classifications, following the convention enumerated. Candidates from v0.2 scoping note:
• engagement_creation_review_and_commit + engagement_creation_commit_and_induct
• seed_review_before_induct + seed_commit_to_induct
• Or an in-convention alternative CC proposes from the enumeration.

Verdict criteria.

• HOLDS. Phase 42 classifier located cleanly; existing intent naming convention is consistent and identifiable; extension point is clear; CC recommends in-convention naming for the two new classifications. v0.3 absorbs the recommendation and settles P54-D7.
• HOLDS with naming surface complexity. Phase 42 classifier located but existing intent naming has mild internal inconsistency (e.g., some intents follow one naming convention; others follow a slightly different one). CC names the inconsistency and recommends the convention most aligned with engagement-creation-terminal-moment semantics. v0.3 absorbs.
• PARTIALLY HOLDS. Phase 42 classifier exists but the extension pattern is denser than scoping assumed (e.g., classifications are spread across multiple modules; tests enforce specific coverage shapes; the registration involves more than adding two strings). CC names the density; v0.3 absorbs as additional design surface.
• BREAKS. Phase 42 classifier has shifted significantly since the Phase 42 CR, or doesn't exist in the form scoping assumes. v0.3 reshapes Reshape C's routing logic accordingly. Unlikely given Phase 46's reliance on Companion vocabulary, but possible if Phase 42's classifier was restructured.
• INCONCLUSIVE. Classifier location is non-obvious; CC documents what was findable; v0.3 carries the unknown into Step 0.75 or proceeds with explicit acknowledgment.

4. After verification

CC produces phase-54-step-0_5-findings-v0_1.md at /Users/dunin7/loomworks-engine/docs/phase-impl-notes/. Single section. Verdict (HOLDS / HOLDS-with-complexity / PARTIALLY HOLDS / BREAKS / INCONCLUSIVE), evidence (file paths, line numbers, enumerated classification list, verbatim snippets), implication for scoping note (P54-D7 settlement recommendation; any additional P54-D items if extension-point complexity surfaces).

CC then tells Marvin one of three states:

• HOLDS or HOLDS-with-complexity. Proceed to Phase 54 CR drafting handoff (next document Claude.ai produces; scoping v0.3 absorbs V7 + P54-D7 settlement before the CR drafts).
• PARTIALLY HOLDS or BREAKS. Findings reviewed; Marvin and Claude.ai produce scoping note v0.3 absorbing the additional design surface; CR drafting waits.
• INCONCLUSIVE. Marvin reviews CC's specific obstacles; either commissions deeper inspection or proceeds with explicit acknowledgment.
