Performed by. Claude Code, as §7 of CR-2026-097 (creation-conversation → Memory-assertion pathway). Scope: playground_dev only. This is dev-environment hygiene; it corrects nothing in product behavior.
The seed-scope fix (CR-2026-097 §6.1) re-homes the committed seed onto its engagement at commit, so new orphans stop accruing on the commons (E0001). But 7 pre-fix orphaned seed lineages already sat on E0001 — seeds whose engagements were either never committed (the candidate seeds) or removed by the 2026-06-01 orphan-engagement cleanup (the one degenerate post-commit seed). This sweep removed exactly those 7 lineages and their induction events.

6db3f37c (E0060's seed) was not swept — E0060 survives and references it. It was mis-scoped on E0001 (a pre-fix residue), and the §6.1 re-home is the going-forward fix; this sweep does not touch it.
Single transaction, ON_ERROR_STOP=1, restricted to exactly the 7 seed object_ids on E0001 and their seed_id-keyed induction events. The unreferenced partition was re-confirmed immediately pre-sweep by set-intersection against every surviving engagement's seed_ref and candidate_seed_id (none of the 7 referenced; 6db3f37c referenced by E0060). Deleted:
seed events (the seed_drafted rows),finding + 3 seed_induction_loop_cycle events (their induction events),current_memory_objects cache rows for the above.
Post-sweep verification (read at the engine): 0 of the 7 remain; the 8 referenced seed lineages on E0001 (bootstrap ×2, commons, 5ec7ce30, 671ce997, 6db3f37c/E0060, 7ee5c384, 88bed7ee) all remain.
The one post-commit lineage (095922a6) already has its governing retraction recorded in the 2026-06-01 orphan-engagement cleanup record; this sweep only removed the now-orphaned seed object, not a fresh retraction.
~66 orphan induction rows (findings/cycles) remain on E0001 whose seed_id maps to no surviving seed — created 2026-04-24 → 2026-06-01 by inductions of seeds removed at various points. These are distinct from the seed-lineage orphans this sweep targeted and were outside CR-2026-097 §7's scope (which named the 7 seed lineages). Flagged for a future hygiene pass.
